erikyoung's blogPossible and Impossible..taken from a conversation at work. Erik: If I told you it was possible to make fire come out of your hand, what would you say? Co-worker: I would tell you it is impossible. Erik: Why is it impossible? Co-worker: Because no one can make fire come from thier hand. Unless you know something I don't. Erik: I think we all really know. In my opinion, I believe it is just as possible to make fire come from ones hand as it is to believe it is impossible. Co-worker: Huh?... Erik: Think about it for a while (an infinate number of doors will open up for you). By erikyoung at Nov 4 2006 - 3:53am
Things Can Only Get BetterIt has been observed that those who meditate are more positive minded people. This perceived positive mindedness can be seen using MRI technology, which shows up with color concentrated into the left-front lobe of someone By erikyoung at Dec 28 2005 - 3:40pm
Ahhhh! The Creature ComfortsThis being one of the first truly cold days here in Dallas, I woke up to 32-degree weather and what felt like nearly the same indoors. It was around 5:30 in the morning. I was tired, cold and had zero desire to get into the office. This was potentially the beginning of an unpleasant day. I grabbed as many blankets and covers as I could and nestled into the bed, trying to ignore the inevitable. I thought to myself, Man! Wouldn By erikyoung at Nov 17 2005 - 3:35am
Source: Now Made With All Natural Ingredients! It's amazing to me, this thing called Law of Attraction, amazing how natural and easily it comes to us once we become aware of it. LOA could be one of the first items to truly be labeled All Natural. I have found in my limited experience that there are two good ways of assisting the Universe in helping you out. 1. Start Appreciating! - even the smallest of details in your life add up. 2. Look back on gifts you might have missed - The Universe is working constantly for us; we're all capable of missing some of them. Not focusing on numero two ended up creating a pretty big "AH HA!" for me. A few months ago I was reaching the end of my position at work. I had been doing roughly the same thing for 6 years and it was time to move on. In addition, I had acquired a new boss, whose Management style was greatly lacking. I felt that the only direction I was headed was backwards. I started looking for a new job while also asking the Universe for either a promotion within the company or new, outside employment that would be challenging as well as more financially rewarding. I hardly worried. I knew that if I wanted it, the Universe would work the logistics and take care of me. No worries! Time went by and I stopped looking for a new job. Without realizing, I literally kicked back and waited to see what would happen. I began to forget about the wants I had requested and continued on with the daily grind. I am now two months into my new job. I'm a software analyst for the same company. It's not only a promotion into a different department, but also a decent financial increase as well! WOO HOO! I was driving home the other day when I remembered that even though I might have forgotten, the universe does not. Consider me taken care of! ;-) By erikyoung at Nov 16 2005 - 4:18am

LOA AT IT'S FINEST!...a little Background info... Several months ago, Law of Attraction, Abraham Hicks, and Ask and it is Given were unknown to me. Earlier this summer my former Kung Fu instructor, (aka Windowe), Andrew Wilcox mentioned the book "Ask and It Is Given" to me. He claimed the exercises in the back of the book had helped his Chi energy vastly increase in a short 60 days of studying LOA than it had in the 9 years of practicing Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Amazed, I immediately ordered the book. Upon arrival, I open my new book of would be "Chi-building exercises". Imagine my surprise when I flipped through the back of the book.... ......actually a light bulb came on. I got it! Fast forward to By erikyoung at Jul 30 2005 - 10:12pm
